The Columbia River Basin is about the size of France and extends over portions of seven states and the Canadian province of British Columbia. Collaborative efforts of federal, tribal, state, local, and non-governmental organizations contribute to improving and protecting the basin’s fish and wildlife, some funded under the Program and some not.
